Swing Ship rides are always fun airtime filled machines, and this one is no acceptation.
Installed in 1996, Blade was one of the two rides that were to replace the popular Thunder Looper which had to be removed due to the large amount of noise it produced. One thing that separates Blade from other Swing Ship rides is its theme. About 90% of the Swing Ship rides you will see are all themed as a pirate ship and given names like the Galleon or Pirate Boat ride. Being in Forbidden Valley Blade has been themed as a massive Blade, something that I think looks good and makes the ride unique.
For max airtime make sure you sit at the back of the ride or for a non intense experience go for the middle. Queues tend not to be to much of a problem with the rides as its one people have seen many times before, so it can be ridden at any time of the day.
