The Flume, was born in 2004 when it was renovated from a standard log flume to its current design sponsored by imperial leather.
The original Log Flume was built in 1981 and was designed by Mack
The track was dark green, winding in and out of the surrounding trees making it camouflaged and exciting. Although good the boats were nothing special and consisted of the common log design, which can be seen on many log flumes.
The new design of flume in my opinion has not ruined this traditional ride but has in fact enhanced the thrill of riding in a boat around an already thrilling track layout. New theming sees the original log boats converted into bath tubs, providing a comfortable yet new experience. The renovation also incorporates the imperial leather mascot the yellow rubber ducky for that added excitement.
This recently renovated log flume, reborn in 2004 has been revamped with the sponsorship of Imperial leather, giving it that bright and inviting look despite the hidden drops and certainty to get wet. This Flume consists of a 3 drops and an added shower at the end just in case you weren't wet enough already. Plenty to fulfil the needs of both families and thrill seekers.
