Duel

As you enter the area of Gloomy Wood you notice that the area consists of an old creepy looking house and not a lot else. From the front, the house just looks old and suited to the wooded surroundings. On busy days you would now make your way around the queue line built into the surrounding trees, however on most days, the rides short queue means you go straight in the front door.

Inside the house you now begin to discover that things aren't quite as normal as they may have first appeared. The floors tilting heavily to one side and the fire place has a face in its flames, there's a ghost dancing in the dolls house and eyes in pictures seem to follow you everywhere you go. Or alternatively the corpse with a laser blaster out the front of the house may have already given the game away!

Now you make you way through the rooms that are really just more of the queue line and onto the actual ride. Carriages seating 5, with a laser blaster for each passenger await, the safety bar lowers and you're off to do battle with the ghosts and gaols.

As you go round LED targets can be seen for you to shoot with the provided blaster gun, and you can also keep track of your score from a display inside the carriage.

This is a really fun interactive ride that's great for families. On-ride photos at the end also feature each riders score so you can keep a memory of who scored the most.
