Submission opened in 2001 as a replacement for Energizer. Pained in black and blue with bits of chrome the ride fits in will with X-Sector.
The ride itself has 2 identical sides to it providing 1 gondola per side, to keep things simple I'll explain as if there is just one side, as the other does exactly the same thing. There is a large arm which makes up the height of the ride that rotates a full 360 degrees. At the end of this are is a gondola which can rotate another 360 degrees. Riders sit in the gondola side on to the arm, so they will be moving forwards and backwards as the arm rotates. Riders also sit in rows of 4 back to back. As the arm rotates the gondola will rotate by the same amount in the opposite direction. So if the main arm rotates clockwise 90 degrees the gondola will rotate 90 degrees anti-clockwise and riders will be left vertically half facing up and the other half facing down. A full 180 degree rotation will have the riders at the top of the ride upside down. The ride builds up slowly going backwards and forwards before completely inverting its passengers.
Due to the nature of what the ride does it actually stops the riders achieving any sense of speed, as the arm rotates the opposite motion of the gondola stops the impact of speed and leaves riders just going through summersault motions. The actual experience in my opinion can best be described as being inside a tumble dryer or washing machine.
Unfortunately due to the above the actual intensity isn't that high so older riders may come off a tad disappointed that while the ride may look excellent its experience is not. On top of this the restraints can also be a bit uncomfortable, so we recommend it is one best left to younger teenagers to experience.
