Congo River Rapids

Congo River Rapids takes you and a rocky raft ride through the rapids of Katanga Canyon. It is ultimately a nice relaxing ride, and one that wont be over in 30 seconds.

You board the rapid boat on a rotating platform similar the the one used on The Flume, so get to your raft as soon as possible. It is also worth noting that the rafts seat up to 8 people, so unless your in a group of 7 or 8 people, expect to be sharing your boat with other guests. It takes a certain length of time for a boat to get round the circuit so any seats left empty result in queue's being longer.

The ride itself is a pretty standard rapids but it is worth noting that the surrounding area looks perfect, and the ride is also a decent length. Along the rout there are a couple of rapid sections that work well to rock the rafts as well as a spectacular looking waterfall section where the boat travels through the middle of two waterfalls.

On hot days additional water jets are also turned on just to get you that extra bit wet.
