Merry England

This area is fairly small in size compared to the rest of the zones in the park, it houses only one major ride and one small ride. The area therefore mostly consists of areas to eat including, McDonald's, an alternative food area serving kebabs and a bbq grill.

This area also has quite a few stalls which are pay to play but can be quite entertaining when taking a break from the larger thrills of the park. However this was not always the case;

In the beginning Merry England was actually known as Ingestre Centre and features and Aquarium, the Circus Hassani and of course some shops. Following this the Log Flume, Grand Canyon Rapids, Swan Boat Ride, Tea Cups and 3D Cinema were all added and the area had its name changed to Aqua Land. Then in 1992 following the installation of Thunder Looper in the newly created Thunder Valley, Aqua Land was split up in order to provide better access to the new area by creating new areas Katanga Canyon and Gloomy Wood, which visitors could walk through on the way to Thunder Valley.

The only ride from Aqua Land that still exists in Merry England now is The Teacups. The Grand Canyon Rapids are now found in Katanga Canyon. The Log Flume did stay as part of Merry England however in 2004 the ride was re-themed to become The Flume. The Swan boat ride and 3D Cinema also remained part of Merry England but sadly left the park in 2004.
