X-Sector

In 1997 all of the rides except The Black Hole were removed from Fantasy World (what is now X-Sector) and it was clear that something big was going to happen due to signs saying 'World First Ride Opens March 1998'.

The following year X-Sector opened featuring the worlds first vertical drop coaster, Oblivion. Alongside this were The Black Hole, Enterprise, and Energizer. The area had been given a fresh Military style theme centred around Oblivion, supposedly some government experiment that was going to subject your body to extreme forces.

In 2001 Energizer was moved to UG Land and re-themed to Boneshaker the last move the ride would have before leaving the park in 2003. Replacing it was Submission a new ride for the park that would spin guests upside down. Following this at the end of 2004 The Black Hole was closed with just Enterprise, Submission and Oblivion remaining.
