ALTON TOWERS NET

The Towers is where everything began and is essentially responsible for everything the park is today. Over the years the Towers have also plaid a part in becoming part of the theme parks attractions as well housing different attractions over the years. Such as the largest model railway in Great Britain that was installed in 1957, and a planetarium installed in the 70s. However the biggest attraction came in 2000 when Hex: The Legend of the Towers opened. This ride built upon a local legend of an oak tree that had been chained up.

The towers themselves have also been open to the public since the 70s and although the maze of rooms is in no way as spectacular as it once was you can take a staircase up to the roof which gives excellent views of the surrounding area.
